Funeral Service for Jeanie Risenhoover, 79 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Brushy Holiness Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Jeanie Risenhoover was born on March 18, 1944 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Ella (Campbell) Poindexter and Floyd Poindexter and passed away on January 10, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Bobby Joe Risenhoover on July 23, 1960 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2018. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby G. and Pam Risenhoover of Sallisaw, OK, Douglas and Janene Risenhoover of Cushing, OK, and Bobby A. and Joanna Risenhoover of Sallisaw, OK; one daughter, Lisa Heaton of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucy Poindexter of Drumright, OK and Vivian Bailey-Taylor of Sallisaw, OK; two brothers, Ernest Poindexter and Neal Poindexter, both of Sallisaw, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Janie Poindexter; and two brothers, Odie and Lloyd Poindexter.

Active Pallbearers will be Tristen Risenhoover, Ashlea Risenhoover, Joey Risenhoover, Jananne Risenhoover, Clayton Risenhoover, and Erika Heaton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Deramy Bailey, Tim Bailey, and Joleen Risenhoover.

Viewing will be 8 AM – Noon Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, OK.
