Janis (McAlister) Eoff

Janis (McAlister) Eoff, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on November 3 2024, in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was born on February 1, 1943, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Mildred Lucille (Boyd) McAlister and Robert Edgar McAlister.

Janis worked as a computer programmer for both Baldor Electric Company and Rheem Manufacturing.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Libby Eoff of Fort Smith, AR; three cherished grandchildren, Emily Reith of Rogers, AR, Madeline Eoff of Fort Smith, AR, and Austin Eoff of Fayetteville, AR; and three great-grandchildren, River Reith, Mave Reith, and Banks Yona Eoff. Janis is also remembered by her sister, Judy Young of Muldrow, OK, along with numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Phyllis Osman, and three brothers, Jerry, Bob, and Jack McAlister.

A memorial service to celebrate Janis's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
