Funeral Service for Jan Claire Scott, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on June 5, 1945 in Mobile, Alabama to Sarah (Warrick) Land and Avery Joel Land and passed away on October 29, 2025 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was married to Thomas H. Scott on December 12, 1964 in Culman, Alabama. Mrs. Scott was an administrative officer for the U.S. Attorney's Office. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her Corgis.

Survivors are husband, Thomas of the home; two sons, Jason Scott and Tresa of Muldrow, OK and Jake Scott and Kami of Gordon, NE; three grandchildren, Kade Scott, Payton Scott and Harper Scott; one sister, Sadie Thomas of Douglasville, GA; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Avery Land, Jr.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Scott, Jake Scott and Kade Scott.

Viewing will be 2 - 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 3 - 5 pm.
