James Isaac Oder

A memorial service for James Isaac Oder, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026, at The First Church of the Nazarene in Muldrow. 

James was born on January 9, 1946, in Arizona to Dorothy Mae (Terrell) Oder and James Oder and passed away on October 12, 2026, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He proudly served as a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a forklift operator. On July 17, 1993, he married Johnnie Mae (England) Oder in Muldrow, creating a loving home and partnership.

James is survived by his devoted wife, Johnnie; his son, David Wesley Oder; and five cherished grandchildren: Christopher Oder, Jacob Kirkpatrick, Dillon Kirkpatrick, David Joseph Oder, and Ashley Granados. He is also remembered by two step-sons, his sister Joyce Kay Avery of Spiro, OK, and his brothers Johnny Oder and Larry Oder of Muldrow, OK, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Leroy Oder.

James will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his dedication to his family and service.
