James William Drebenstedt

Memorial Service for James William Drebenstedt, 85, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

James was born on May 19, 1941, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, to Mary Ellen (Wilson) Drebenstedt and Stephen William Drebenstedt. He passed away on October 25, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

On December 9, 2009, James married Diana Lynn (Solt) Drebenstedt in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Throughout his working years, he was employed as a truck driver, dedicating much of his life to a career on the road. James will be remembered by his family and friends, who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Diana Drebenstedt of the home; four children, Nancy Barlaug of Florida, Angela Desautels of Florida, Patricia Williams of Indiana, and Roberta Drebenstedt of Sallisaw, OK; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Kay Martin; three brothers, Bob Drebenstedt, Tim Drebenstedt, and Roy Drebenstedt; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Melvin Drebenstedt.
