Don Clark

Don Clark, age 78, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on April 1, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on November 7, 1947, on Brushy Mountain, in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, he was the beloved son of Ruby Charlene (Thompson) Clark and Derwood Clark.

Don was a licensed truck driver for 50 years and attended the Marble City Holiness Church. He loved The Lord and cherished spending time with his family, caring for horses, cutting wood, and working around his home.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Heather Flint and her husband, John, of Henderson, Nevada; his son, Dave Clark of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; his grandson, Kaleb Lee Clark also of Sallisaw; as well as his great-grandchildren, Daisy Ren Clark and George Henry Clark. Don also leaves behind many relatives and friends who held him dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Derwood and Ruby Clark; his sister, JoAnn Brown; and his brother, Kenneth Wayne Clark.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with burial to follow at Brushy Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, where family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Dave Clark, John Flint, Kaleb Clark, and Butch Freeman, with Jerry Stephens serving as honorary pallbearer.

Don Clark’s life was one of hard work, faith, and love. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.
