J. B. Powell

J.B. Powell, age 75, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was born on June 7, 1950, in Tulsa to Virginia (Keifer) Powell and Herbert Powell.

J.B. was a loving husband to Debbie (Leigh) Powell, whom he married on November 9, 1974, in Tulsa. He dedicated his career to serving as a produce manager at a local grocery store, where he was known for his hard work and commitment.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie; one son, Jason Powell and Kristina of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Rhonda Cameron and Randy of Collinsville, Oklahoma. J.B. cherished his five granddaughters, Aranda Cameron, Gracie Powell, Paige Powell, Amelia Powell, and Madelynn Powell, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by two sisters, Judy Manus of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Lisa McDade of Arkansas; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

J.B. was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Linda Wheeler.

A graveside service will be held in his honor on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, on Monday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

J.B. will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
