Iris Judith "Judy" Reed

Iris Judith "Judy" Reed was born to Troy and Lucy Wilson in Visalia, California on March 20, 1941. She married Herbert Reed on August 2, 1957 in Liberty, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jerry Wilson and Choppy Wilson; three sons, Shawn Reed, Michael Reed, and Kim Reed; and one granddaughter, Amanda Jeremiah.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Reed of the home; James Reed of Liberty, OK; Sherry and Don Huhn of Van Buren, AR; Renee and Terry Earp of Fort Smith, AR; Paul Reed of Liberty, OK; and Rhonda and Jason Riddle of Roland, OK; 18 grandkids and a host of great and great-great grandkids.

The Reed Homestead was her favorite place, especially when full of family gatherings, such as fish fries and holidays. She loved kitchen gadgets. If it chopped, peeled, sliced or diced in a different way she wanted it. Judy could eat a habanero the same as most could eat a potato chip. She loved spicy food. She also loved going on road trips, camping and fishing over the years. Judy had a love of books that started when her mom introduced her to books as a child, when they moved around from one location to the next. She was an employee of Baldor Electric for 15 years. She was a homemaker, a seamstress, and the very best mother and granny. She lived her life for God and passed those values down through her family.

Funeral Service for Judy will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Visitation will be Noon - 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.

Active Pallbearers will be Tyler Riddle, Joe Reed, Cody Earp, Trevor Riddle, Tristen Riddle and Brandon Reed.
