Harold Dean Henderson, Sr.

Harold Dean Henderson, Sr., 62, of Gans, Oklahoma, was called home on May 15, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Born on December 9, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of William Marion Henderson and Bessie Marie (Squires) Henderson. Harold was a beloved father, grandfather, and uncle to his family.

He was a kind and generous man in life who would help anyone in need and now in death continues to help through organ donation. An avid NASCAR fan, he took his love of cars and did mechanic work for many years. Harold also spent time as a carpenter. He had a sense of humor that will be dearly missed.

Surviving him are his children, Linda Ann Henderson of Grand Rapids, OH, Harold "Hoss" Henderson, Jr. and Elise of Crawfordville, FL, and Nicholas Fuson of Stilwell, OK; and two step-children, Samantha Moyer of Gans, OK and Sha Terrell of Gore, OK. His siblings, Sally Spencer of Vian, OK, Marion Henderson and Delaine of Hutchinson, KS, Frank Henderson of El Dorado, KS, Valma Collins of Hutchinson, KS, and Harry Hill of Oklahoma also survive. Harold was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and an uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie; and his wife, Torina Moyer Henderson.

A cremation service is being held under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
