Wayne Hutchinson

Wayne Hutchinson, age 68, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on January 27, 2026. He was born on May 9, 1957, in Dumas, Texas, to Cleta (Boatman) Hutchinson and Harlan G. Hutchinson. Wayne worked in construction.

A Funeral Service will be held in his honor at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Evans Chapel of Memories, in Poteau, Oklahoma. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Patricia Williams of Van Buren, Arkansas; his son, P.J. Hutchinson of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Timothy, Trinity, Trace, and Dakota Williams. Additionally, he leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Emelie and Ella; four sisters, Judy Horn of New Mexico, Linda Head of Atoka, Oklahoma, Darlene Mann of Sunray, Texas, and Nikki Miller of Texas; along with several other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Rebekkah Hutchinson; his parents; and his cherished four-legged companion, Roscoe.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
