Gladys Loretta 'Retta' (Lacey) Ward

Graveside Service for Gladys Loretta “Retta” (Lacey) Ward, 86, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 8, 1936 to Bessie Jane (Reed) Edwards and Eldon Lacey and passed away on May 5, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Bill Ward on December 31, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2013. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are two daughters, Lynda Ward of Marble City, OK and Loretta Bean of Marble City, OK; three sons, Bob Ward of Vian, OK, Joe Ward of Sallisaw, OK and Terry Ward of Sallisaw, OK; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Billie Kramer; and one son, Tim Ward.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
