Funeral services for Gladys Louise Jackson, age 94, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery, with arrangements entrusted to Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Louise was born on December 25, 1931, in Hinton, Oklahoma, to Edith Grace (Gilbreath) White and John Oliver White. She passed away on March 16, 2026, in Vancouver, Washington. On November 6, 1948, she married Jimmie Sam Jackson in Reno, Nevada. Louise dedicated her life to working at the Sequoyah County Health Department before retiring to enjoy traveling alongside her husband, Jim. They shared a love for adventure and dancing. Louise also had a passion for embroidering, delighting in sharing her beautiful creations with others.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Dwight Jackson and Andy of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Randy Jackson and Helen of Brush Prairie, Washington; seven grandchildren: James, Daniel, David, John, Becky, Rhonda, and Renee; sixteen great-grandchildren: Laynee, Coral, Adalyn, Henry, Rebecca, Colleen, Ashli, Samantha, James, John, Duane, Jesica, Andrea, Neztahja, Dennis, and Morgan; seventeen great-great-grandchildren: Zealand, Jameson, Collin, Jade, Sean, Hailey, Hannah, Heidi, Hunter, Quannah, Dakota, Kasey, Wally, Riddick, William, Sandy, and Krishna; and one great-great-great-grandson, Nathaniel, along with other cherished relatives and friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Sam Jackson; her son, Jimmie Sam Jr.; her parents; and two sisters, Bernice Borden and Ruby Murphy.

Active pallbearers for the service will be Jimmie Casebolt, James Jackson, Daniel Jackson, and David Jackson. Honorary pallbearers include Sam Craghead and Bo Webster.

Visitation will take place from noon until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, where family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
