Geneva E. Remer, 95, of the Carlile Community, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Geneva was born on August 11, 1930, in Salen, Arkansas, to parents Thomas and Ethel Mae Ingle. A hard-working woman, with a servant's heart, Geneva devoted her life to her family and community and was known far and wide as an excellent cook, whether she was feeding her family, friends or the many students and faculty she served during more than 25 years working for the Carlile and Gore school systems. Geneva was known for her strong work ethic, her deep love for her family and lifelong affection for cats.

Geneva enjoyed square-dancing, scary movies, traveling, and the color red, which she wore beautifully. Some of her most treasured adventures were traveling with her late brother Paul and sister-in-law LaDell Ingle.

Geneva is survived by her two sons, Dewey Dee Remer and Johnny Wayne Remer, both of Gore, OK., one brother, Ronnie Jo Ingle of Sulphur Springs, TX; seven grandchildren, Dewayne Cherry of Gore, OK, DeShonne Richmond and husband Jimbo of Roland, OK, Tina Lowe and husband Bradley of Vian, OK, Robin Remer of Gore, OK., Heather Tate of San Antonio, TX, Kelly Remer and wife Donna of Gore, OK, and Lori Myers and husband Brian of Wylie, TX; 11 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Remer; parents; four sisters, Madeline Remer of Vian, Virgie "Dutch" Chandler of Muskogee, Carolyn "Sue" Carlile of Tahlequah and Ruth Ingle of Vallejo, CA; and three brothers, Paul Ingle of Granbury, TX, Mike Ingle of Sacramento, CA and Thomas Ingle of Odessa, TX.

Per Geneva's wishes, there will be no funeral or graveside service. She will be cremated and laid to rest beside her late husband in Gore, Oklahoma.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service.
