Gary Don Lookebill, age 84, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, departed this life on September 22, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. A cremation service is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Gary was born on November 25, 1940, in Oilton, Oklahoma, to Ruth (Bralley) Lookebill and Cecil "Bud" Lookebill. He shared a long and loving marriage with his wife, Evelyn M. (Peters) Lookebill, whom he married on December 3, 1983, in Muldrow.

A proud graduate of Drumright High School class of 1958, Gary earned his Pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. In 1969, he became a dedicated member of the Muldrow community by purchasing Muldrow Pharmacy and later opened Roland Pharmacy in 1978. Gary's contributions to the field of pharmacy were recognized with a 50th Pharmacy pin and certificate in 2013, after which he continued to serve the community for three more years.

In addition to his professional achievements, Gary was an avid hunter and golfer. He actively participated in community service as a member of the Lions Club and Jaycees, and was honored as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Young Men in America. His leadership abilities were further demonstrated through various committees, and he served as the Republican County Chairman.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn, and four daughters: Misha and Dusty Goldsmith of Mineola, TX, Lauri and Dr. Matt Osborn of Miami, OK, Kelly and Andy Short of Frisco, TX, and Paige and Richard Godfrey of Jenks, OK. He was the proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Jason Mowdy and Mary Rose of Spencer, OK, Dr. Madeline Lynch and Brian of Norman, OK, Hannah Linton and Alex of Norman, OK, Abby Hammons and PK of Norman, OK, Caroline Godfrey of Mechanicsville, VA, Kate Godfrey of Memphis, TN, and Rhys Short and Sarah Johnson of Portland, OR. Gary also enjoyed his six great-grandchildren: Joshua, Caleb, and Josiah Mowdy of Spencer, OK, and Clara Jane, Elliott, and Emmitt Linton of Norman, OK.

He is also remembered by his sister, Linda Franks and Don of Tishomingo, OK, a special nephew, Chad Pratt, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Gaylene Neely Lookabill.
