Funeral Service for Frank Crowson, 56, formerly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Dwight Mission Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on July 18, 1967 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Nada Pearl (Cupp) Crowson and Haskell Robert Crowson and passed away on May 18, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a hard worker, a rancher and very proud of his Beefmaster cattle. He loved hunting and fishing and was very artistic. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors. He devoted his life to helping others and was passionate about healthcare. Frank was the President of the Sallisaw Child Welfare Advisory Committee and volunteered at the Methodist Boys Ranch. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Survivors are two daughters, Ashley Risenhoover and Johnny of Sallisaw, OK and Brianna Emerson and Josh of Sallisaw, OK; three grandchildren, Maddyson, Makenzye and Macey Risenhoover, all of Sallisaw, OK; one brother, Woody Crowson and Evelyn of Oolagah, OK; five sisters, Pearline Snow and John of Monet, MO, Cris Williams and Jimmy of Sallisaw, OK, Gale Flood and Pete of Lakeland, FL, Pauline Horn and Monte of Sallisaw, OK and Jenny Lucas and David of Gatlin, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Eugene Smith, Robert Crowson, Jack Crowson and Dale Crowson; one sister, Wanda Matevia; and his very close friend, Bill Sharp.
Active Pallbearers will be Travis Crowson, Jimmy Crowson, Aaron Matevia, Tim Gann, Daniel Honeycutt and Dustin Crowson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Crowson, Bryan Lucas, Thad Horn, Monte Horn, Bill Honeycutt and Danny Honeycutt.
Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 4 - 6 PM.
