Graveside Service for Evelyn (Johnson) Henry, 95, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Evelyn (Johnson) Henry, our beloved mother and grandmother, was born on March 22, 1930 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Nancy (Mitchel) Johnson and Arlo Johnson and went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2026 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She held down many jobs over the years while raising her children. She worked for R.O. and Katherine Ingle Attorneys at Law while working at the Sequoyah Theater, and selling Avon. In 1965, she and her husband, Lloyd Henry, built Henry's Laundry where she worked and helped take care of her granddaughters. From there she went to school and became a provider for the elderly which was probably her favorite of all of her jobs. She loved her people.

Survivors are one son, Lloyd James Henry II of Sallisaw, OK; one daughter, Ima Lou Lattimore of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren, James Henry and Kelly of Fort Smith, AR, Amy (Lattimore) Blalock and Jason of Sallisaw, OK, Alisa Lattimore of Akins, OK, Blake Lattimore of Sallisaw, OK, Amber Bond and Jimmie T. of Springdale, AR, and Tuesday Bailey and Justin of Cedarville, AR; 11 great-grandchildren, Jake Taff, Mason Blalock, Olivia Blalock, Mazie McMullin, Collin Henry, Harper, January, Norah, Rory, Drewie, and Thompson; one great-great-grandchild, Emily Taff; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, William Henry Johnson, James Johnson, Richard Johnson, Charlie Johnson and Elmer Johnson; and one sister, Mattie Lou (Johnson) Phillips.
