Eugene Lee Hill, age 86, of Cookson, Oklahoma, formerly of Danville, Indiana, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 4, 2025 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was born on August 24, 1939, in Danville, Indiana, to David and Jeanette Isenberg. Gene was a retired businessman, entrepreneur, and inventor whose creativity and vision created a world of fascination. He will be remembered for his dedication, imagination, and perseverance throughout his life and career.

He is survived by his devoted daughters: Tera (Brian) Black of Cookson, Oklahoma, Jeannie (Tommy) Hawkins of Moore, Oklahoma, and Becky (Jo) Isenberg of Danville, Indiana. Gene loved and adored his daughters with all his heart, and he loved them fiercely. Gene was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Jaden, Nicholas, Ashley, Olivia, Cody, Taylor, Emma, and Morgan. He was further blessed with eleven great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Rowdy, Ezren, Lily, Maddie, Addison, Dixie, Ava, Ellie, Chevy Dale, and Remington. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert “Bob” Hill and Fritz Hill; and his sisters, Helen Galea, Dorothy Ford, and Alta Albert.

A passionate golfer for many years, Gene found joy, fellowship, and lifelong friendships on the golf course. Among those friendships, he cherished most his dearest friend, Mark Moore of Indiana, who shared countless rounds and memories with him. His love for the game reflected his zest for life and the meaningful bonds he built along the way.

Eugene Lee Hill will be remembered with deep love and admiration. His family and friends will forever cherish his memory and the lasting impact he made in their lives.
