Erma Pauline Jones

Memorial Service for Erma Pauline Jones, age 77, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. The service is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Erma Pauline Jones was born on October 9, 1948, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Evelynn (Smith) Jones and Albert Edward Jones. She passed away on May 29, 2026, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Jones had a deep love for reading and dedicated part of her life working at the library in Spiro, Oklahoma. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, and was known for crocheting baby blankets for children. She also held a special affection for animals.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Virginia House of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Sally Duvall of Van Buren, Arkansas, Ralph Lord, III of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Evelyn Looper of Watonga, Oklahoma. Her legacy continues through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy Jones of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Nellie Palmer of Muldrow, Oklahoma; brothers, Mike Jones of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Albert Jones of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Jerry Jones of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; as well as other relatives and friends.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Carolyn Jones, her brother, William Jones; and her great-grandchild Marvin Ealy.

Her family and friends will remember Erma for her kindness, her love of family, and the warmth she brought into their lives.
