Ellen English, 75, of Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma, passed away on November 10, 2025, in Roland, Oklahoma. She will be interred in Clayville, New York, with local services provided by Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Born on June 1, 1950, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ellen was the daughter of Betty (Haug) Woodman and Lawrence B. Whitaker. She married her beloved husband, Don English, on April 18, 1975, in Clayville, New York. Ellen dedicated her career to serving as a Franchise Office Manager for McDonald's, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. A lifelong member of the Girl Scouts, she served as a song leader and was deeply engaged in her community and church as a member of the Catholic faith.

Ellen is survived by her loving husband, Don, and their two sons: Don English and Lydia of Lake Tenkiller, OK, and Kevin English of Waterville, NY. She also leaves behind two daughters, Melissa Clarey and Jamie of New Hartford, NY, and Amanda Williams and Kevin of Galavant Prairie, SC, along with 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who were a source of great joy in her life.

She cherished her family ties, which included one brother, Bill Whitaker and Jean of Healdsburg, CA, and five sisters: Rev. Meri Whitaker of Vian, OK, Patti Brauer of Vian, OK, Melani Davis and James of Vian, OK, Laurie Whitaker-Gassaway of Hulbert, OK, and Elsie Welch of Welch, OK. Ellen will also be remembered by numerous other relatives and friends who were fortunate to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wendy Kierpiec, as well as three beloved grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, and James.

Ellen's spirit lives on in the memories of her loved ones, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
