Ed Fisher

Ed Fisher, age 72, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on March 22, 2026. Born on April 12, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, Ed was the son of Dorothy Jean (Phillips) Fisher and Lindy Fisher.

Ed honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Professionally, he was a skilled computer programmer, and he also carried the spirit of a salty dog sailor throughout his life. On May 28, 1973, he married Donna Marie (Wagner) Fisher in Wichita, Kansas. She preceded him in death.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Michelle Pross, and her husband John of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his son, Damon Tarl Fisher of Oklahoma City; his four grandchildren, Jaden Stark, Peyton Stark, Konner Fisher, and Kaegan Fisher; and his great-grandson, Isaiah Gwin. Ed is also survived by his father, Lindy Fisher of Porum, Oklahoma; two sisters, Jackie Yokely and Gail Fisher, both of Derby, Kansas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his mother, Dorothy Jean; and one sister, Judy Perkins.

Cremation services are being conducted under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
