Earvil "Lee" Miller Jr.

Earvil “Lee” Miller Jr. , age 70, of Sallisaw Oklahoma, passed away on August 14, 2026. Born on August 26, 1955, in Bakersfield, California to Jamie Lee Miller and Earvil Lee Miller Sr. He grew up in San Jose, California until the age of 16 when his family moved to Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where he lived the rest of his life. On May 16, 1975, he married the love of his life, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Miller in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Together they created a loving home filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Lee was known for his passion for fishing, golfing, and woodwork. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, working with his hands, and sharing his skills and stories with his family and friends.

Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Gwen Miller of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; his daughter, Kacy Miller Deo, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and his two granddaughters, Baylee Deo of Wichita Falls, Texas and Karen Deo, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews along with other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Lee was preceded in death by his mom and dad; his son, Jason Lee Miller; two brothers, Euel Miller and Gerald Miller; and his parents-in-laws, Marvin Leeroy Jamison and Ruth Allen Jamison.

A funeral service to honor Lee’s life will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 17,2026, at First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with a burial to follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Active pallbearers will be Zachary Jamison, Marshal Miller, Micheal Miller, Ryan Wilson, Steven Crooks, and Johnathan Limore.

Lee is remembered for his loving heart, strength, unwavering devotion to his wife, children, and grandchildren, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. 

His legacy lives on through the many lives that he touched and the family he cherished so deeply. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Viewing will be held Noon - 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where family will greet from 6 - 8 PM.
