Donny Lee Sizemore

Donny Lee Sizemore, age 71, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on February 16, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born on October 8, 1954, in Sallisaw, he was the son of Mary Faye (Bias) Sizemore and Youl Sizemore. Donny dedicated his life to serving his community as a policeman and security officer.

He married the love of his life, Linda (Sanders) Sizemore, on September 23, 1972, in Vian, Oklahoma. Together they built a beautiful family and shared countless cherished memories. Donny had a deep passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

Donny leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda; two daughters, Melinda Mefford and husband Chris, and Stephanie Robinson and husband Shane, all of Sallisaw, OK; nine grandchildren: Jessica Toney and husband Caleb of Gravite, AR, Hailee Dorrell and husband Tret of Guthrie, OK, Alayna Corbett and husband John of Sallisaw, OK, Easton Robinson of Fort Smith, AR, Kaydence Cooper of Barling, AR, Codey Cooper of Sallisaw, OK, Briclynn Vinson of Sallisaw, OK, Mady Vinson of Stilwell, OK, and Colton Vinson of Stilwell, OK; and one great-grandchild, Tret Hudsyn Dorrell of Guthrie, OK. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Russell of Sallisaw, OK, and two special nieces, Beverly Sizemore and Rena Harsch, both of Sallisaw, OK.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Sizemore Vinson; his parents; three sisters, Pauline Sizemore, Geliea Mattingly, and Dorothy Curry; and four brothers, Teddy, Dale, Wayne, and Bill Sizemore.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, followed by burial at Dwight Mission Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Active pallbearers for Donny will include Chris Mefford, Caleb Toney, Tret Dorrell, John Corbett, Shane Robinson, Codey Cooper, Colton Vinson, Chester Sanders, and Easton Robinson. Honorary pallbearers are Tret Hudsyn Dorrell, Kenny Hicks, Jessie Johnson, and Kevin Sanders.

Viewing will take place from 2 to 8 PM on Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, with the family greeting visitors from 6 to 8 PM.

Donny will be remembered for his dedication to his family and community, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
