Donnie was born on October 24, 1949, to Jeanette (Edwards) Rogers and Amos Sylvester Rogers and passed away on October 3, 2026, in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Donnie was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and remained a devoted OU fan throughout his life. A highly intelligent man with a curious mind, he had a special interest in astronomy and enjoyed observing the night sky through his large telescope. Donnie was also a veteran who proudly served in the United States Military.

He is survived by his cousins, Sondra Bethel and husband David of Vian, OK, Paula Coan and husband Ricky of Muldrow, OK, Gaye Brannon of Gans, OK, Buddy Coker of Muldrow, OK, and Pat Coker and wife Vickie of Muldrow, OK; along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Amos Rogers; and his brother, Jimmy Rogers.
