Donna Gail (Fargo) Cannon

Funeral Service for Donna Gail (Fargo) Cannon, 85, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on February 11, 1938 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Nora (Moton) Treat and Calvin Wells Fargo and passed away on June 24, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Claude Cannon on August 12, 1988 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2021. She was a retired educator for Muldrow Public Schools and a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She was an avid advanced square dancer, a member of the Kozy Quilters and was a Red Hatter.

Survivors are children, Gwendolyn Ruth Goodwin of Muldrow, OK, Jimmy Don Crosslin and Sharron of Okmulgee, OK, Paula Gail Brown and Ron of Muldrow, OK, Brenda Sue Hice and Danny of Muldrow, OK, Calvin George Crosslin of Muldrow, OK and Ronald Gene Crosslin of Muldrow, OK; 12 grandchildren, Christopher Caplena, Justin Blaylock, Jason Crosslin, Donnie Ray Sharp, Stephen Goodwin, Melissa Ann Johnson, Michael Goodwin, Melinda Reeves, Zachary Crosslin, David Crosslin, Mark Goodwin and Jacob Crosslin; 10 great-grandchildren, Dakota Caplena, Hayden McKinster, Aiden Goodwin, Chandler McKinster, Hendrix McKinster, Joy Reeves, Kimber Crosslin, Benjamin Crosslin, Jace Reeves and Theodore Crosslin; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandchild, Matthew Crosslin; parents; and one brother, C.B. Fargo.

Active Pallbearers will be Dakota Caplena, Christopher Caplena, Donnie Ray Sharp and Hayden McKinster.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
