Dennis Ray Overton

Dennis Ray Overton, 68, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away on June 1, 2025, in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born on December 27, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas, to Virginia (Harmon) Overton and Seldon Lane Overton.

Dennis served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a truck driver. 

Survivors are two daughters, LeeAnna Diamond of Vian, OK, and Amanda Overton and Blake Rempe of Oklahoma City, OK; one grandson, Danny Nichols of Tahlequah, OK; his brother, Randall Overton of Shawnee, OK; his sister, Donna Overton of Gore, OK; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Danny Overton.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. 

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during viewing hours from Noon to 8 PM on Wednesday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
