DeLois (Andrews) Kyle

DeLois (Andrews) Kyle, age 87, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on June 20, 1938, to Jettie Mae (Tweedy) Anderson and Robert Alfred Andrews in Sallisaw.

DeLois was united in marriage to Jack Kyle on May 22, 1974, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She cherished their time together until his passing on September 8, 2005. DeLois dedicated her life to being a homemaker, where she found joy in exploring her creative side through arts and crafts, quilting, and nurturing her beautiful gardens filled with flowers. She found solace on her back porch, often enjoying the company of her beloved dog, Mitzi.

DeLois is survived by her three sons: Mike Thomas and Laurel of Fort Smith, AR, Marvin Thomas and Linda of Pocola, OK; and Jason Kyle of Lonoke, AR, She also leaves behind three daughters: Melissa Forand and Roland of Van Buren, AR; Kelly Hicks and Randal of Fort Smith, AR; and Kathy Walker of Fort Smith, AR. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren: Tamara, Shawn, Brad, Staci, Kenny, Kimberly, Randi, James, Ashley, Aiden and Corbin; and 26 great-grandchildren. DeLois is also survived by two brothers, A.C. Andrews and Fern of Sallisaw, OK, and Dewey Andrews of Afton, OK, along with other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Crystal Wilson and Donna Rye; her parents; one sister, Robbie Trueblood; and one brother, J.D. Andrews.

A funeral service to honor DeLois will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, with burial following at Akins Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Shawn Thomas, Kenny Kyle, Ashtyn Thomas, Aiden Thomas, James Rye, and Kason Jones.

The family invites friends for viewing on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2 - 8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, with a special time for the family to greet visitors from 6 - 8 PM.
