Delmer "Snooks" Buttery

Memorial services for Delmer "Snooks" Buttery, 81, of Vian, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Vian Community Center in Vian, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Delmer "Snooks" Buttery was born on February 22, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Cherokee Ann (Houston) Buttery and Odis Buttery. He passed away on July 3, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married Janet (Cato) Buttery, and together they built a life in Vian. Delmer worked as a salesman for United Built Homes and proudly served his country in the United States Army with the 4th Infantry Division.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet, of the home; two sons, Monte Buttery and Matt Buttery, both of Vian, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Calli Buttery, Camryn Buttery, Rebel Buttery, Cherokee Grace Buttery, and Brody Weldon Buttery; two brothers, David Buttery and Dukes "Buddy" Buttery, both of Vian, Oklahoma; along with many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Brad Buttery; his parents, Cherokee Ann and Odis Buttery; and two brothers, Donald Buttery and Robert Buttery.
