Debra Ann (Caughman) Bair, 66, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed surrounded by her family, on Monday, August 3, 2020. She was born on March 26, 1954 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to the late Naomi (Cupp) McNee and John Caughman. She was married to John Bernard Bair on October 9, 1971 in Anderson, Indiana.
Debi was a foster parent and therapeutic foster parent for nearly thirty years, opening her heart and home to many children that needed love and care. She was a unit director and board member of the Sequoyah County Boys and Girls Club for over ten years and was a secretary at Liberty Elementary School. Debi was also an avid supporter of the Sequoyah County Drug Court program, where she encouraged, counseled and showed support to those integrating back into the community.
She was adored by so many and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, peers and those she mentored. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you make donations to Boys and Girls Club in Sequoyah County or to the Sequoyah County Drug Court program. This will be a demonstration of respect and love for Debi.
