David C. Smith

Graveside Service for David C. Smith, 65, of Gore, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at White Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 4, 1958 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Mary Ann (Garrison) Smith and Lonzo Webster Smith and passed away on June 9, 2024 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  He completed a degree in accounting at Northeastern State University.  He was a carpenter, who built houses, cabinetry and all types of woodworking. He was of the Freewill Baptist faith and a member of the House of Prayer Church in Gore, Oklahoma. David loved playing football for the Gore Pirates, was a true OU Sooners fan and also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all his family. 

Survivors are son, Kelly Smith and Cleoria of Henderson, NV; daughter, Morgan Harris and Nolan of Gore, OK; grandson, Alex Harris of Gore, OK; three brothers, Stanley and Kristi Smith of Gore, OK, Kenny Smith and Gayle of Gore, OK, and Vince Smith and Carmen of Gore, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Lon and Eddie Garrison, and Hattie Smith. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be his son and brothers. 

Viewing will be Noon - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore, OK where the family will greet 5 - 7 PM.
