She was married to Tommy Lewis on June 23, 1962 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Daphene was a former postal clerk and attended Faith Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Survivors are husband, Tommy of the home; daughter, Tammy Rosenberg of Dinuba, CA; son, Tim Lewis and Linda of Dinuba, CA; four grandchildren, Branson Allen, Ashley DeLong and Daniel, Ryan Lewis, and Heather Rosenberg; seven great-grandchildren, Maia Cipriano, Ryott Johnson, Alex Allen, Anabelle DeLong, Christian DeLong, Levi Lewis, and Ethan Lewis; two sisters, Bernell Edwards of Sallisaw, OK and Sheila Kumpe and Bill of Broken Arrow, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, David Allen; and two great-grandchildren, Peter DeLong and Paul DeLong.
