Daniel Lee Boswell, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on July 16, 2026. Born on December 10, 1951, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Daniel led a life marked by dedication and love.
Daniel was united in marriage to Lisa Jo (Gregory) Boswell on November 24, 1982, in Dyer, Arkansas. Together, they built a life centered around family. He served his country with honor as a United States Marine and later applied his skills as an automation engineer. His career included contributions to Fort Smith Cable and American Tubing, reflecting his passion for innovation and hard work.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lisa, along with a cherished family: his daughter, Melody Ann Linzmeyer and Josh of Suring, WI; his sons, Andy Boswell and wife, Sherri, of Dyer, AR, Simon Boswell and wife, Brittany, of Muldrow, OK, and Nathan Boswell and wife, Ashlyn, of Muldrow, OK. Daniel's legacy extends to his 13 grandchildren— Alyssa, Matthew, Anna, Johnathan, Justin, Jeiden, Kaleigh, Addy, Kyah, Mackenzie, Piper, James, and Stevie—and five great-grandchildren, Leo, Millie, Coe, Luka, and Arlo. He is also survived by his sister, Peggy Kratzberg and husband, Donnie, of Fort Smith, AR; along with several other relatives and friends.
Daniel was predeceased by his parents, James Daniel Boswell and Viola Bell Richmond, and will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to those he loved and his significant contributions to his community and work. His enduring spirit and warmth touched many lives.
A viewing will be held 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma, with a funeral service honoring Daniel’s life starting at 6:00 PM.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Heart of Hospice for all the love, care, and attention they provided.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma, or to the charity of your choice.
