Dalton Holmes

Dalton Holmes, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026.

Born on April 25, 1939, in California, to Kenneth and Marie (Jennings) Holmes, Dalton lived a life marked by hard work, perseverance, and a genuine appreciation for the people around him. He spent much of his career as a salesman, where his personable nature, strong work ethic, and ability to connect with others earned him the respect of colleagues and customers alike.

Dalton shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Karen Kay (Clifford) Holmes. Together they built a family founded on love, devotion, and unwavering commitment.

Beyond his career, Dalton will be remembered most for the life he lived and the relationships he built. His quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his stories, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed.

Dalton is survived by his three daughters, seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory and the love he shared throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karen Kay (Clifford) Holmes; one daughter, Brenda Kay Holmes; his parents; and his siblings.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Dalton has been reunited with Karen and Brenda. We are grateful for the years we shared with him and for the countless memories that will remain with us forever. His legacy of kindness, integrity, and unconditional love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dalton’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
