Graveside Service for Cleburn “Clay” Coy Whisenhunt, 80, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 21, 1939 in Texanna, Oklahoma to Helen “Babe” (Duncan) Whisenhunt and Bud Whisenhunt and passed away on July 3, 2020 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was a mechanic and of the Non-Denominational faith.

Survivors are:

daughter: Denise Nowell and Max of Quanah, TX;

son: Cleburn Coy Whisenhunt Brinkley and Glenda of Amarillo, TX;

2 grandchildren: Katie Sailor and Travis and Sandy McAlister and Heath;

3 great-grandchildren: Weston, Quinton and Tyson;

companion: Isabelle “Belle” Whisenhunt Needham of Vian, OK;

numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Sammy and Wayne Whisenhunt; and one sister, Donna Emerson.
