Cindy Young

Cindy Young, 69 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away on July 13, 2025 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was born on December 17, 1955 in Merced, California to Deloris (Reece) Cox and Homer Edward Cox. She was a former care provider and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are two sons, Jason Spicer of Muldrow, OK and Michael Young of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren, Kathaleen Spicer and Jack Spicer; four sisters, Brenda Holland and Junior of Greenwood, AR, Crystal Sullivan of Muldrow, OK, Lisa Johnson and Howard of Lavaca, AR, and Angel Pulliam of Tulsa, OK; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Cox; and sister, Barbara Thornburg.
