Byrd Faulkner Wilson

Funeral Service for Byrd Faulkner Wilson, 95, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Byrd was born on October 8, 1930, in Muldrow, Oklahoma, to Allie Lena (Faulkner) Wilson and Finnie Wilson, and passed away on September 23, 2026, in Vian, Oklahoma. On December 31, 1954, he married Billie Sue Wilson, with whom he shared more than 36 years of marriage until her passing on January 2, 1991.

Byrd proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Throughout his working years, he was a construction engineer for E.E. Barber and later served as Chief Financial Officer for Southwest Home Health Care.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Marlene Elrod of Lake Tenkiller, OK, and Rhonda Keith of Muldrow, OK; one son, Gregory Byrd Wilson of Roland, OK; five grandchildren, Chadley Evan Stites of Lake Tenkiller, OK, Bradley Wilson Stites of Jenks, OK, Natisha Edwards and Grover of Muldrow, OK, Brandy Delozier-Arnold and Ken, and River Wilson of Roland, OK; six great-grandchildren, Aurelius Stites, Sofia Stites, Kaleb Delozier, Aiden Ruiz, Lilly McInerny, and Makenzy Arnold; two sisters, Martha Cherry of Muldrow, OK, and Florence Breedlove and Charles of Muldrow, OK; sister-in-law, Jean Wilson of Scott, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Sue Wilson; his parents; three sisters, Araminta Strong, Mary Wilson, and Marlene Wilson; and four brothers, Finnie Edward Wilson, Paul Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, and Ronald Wilson.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.
