Bruce "Jerald" Blaylock

Bruce "Jerald" Blaylock, age 85, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on September 16, 2025, in Barling, Arkansas. He was born on October 12, 1939, in Muldrow, Oklahoma, to Vola Vera (Shackelford) Blaylock and Bruce Condren Blaylock.

Jerald held a deep love for his family and is remembered fondly by his four daughters: Pam Daniel and Ben of Roland, OK, Nenya Haworth of Fort Smith, AR, DeAnna Roberts of Muldrow, OK, and Beth Jones and Perry of Yukon, OK, as well as his son, Todd Blaylock of Jenks, OK. He was blessed with seven granddaughters—Nicole, Jessica, Mandy, Cassie, Abby, Lauryn, and Megan—and five grandsons—Jordan, Cyrus, Kyle, Logan, and Benjamin—along with numerous great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Jerald dedicated much of his life to his work as an electrician and found joy in camping and fishing during his leisure time. He was united in marriage to Virginia "Jenny" Anne (House) Blaylock on June 6, 1967, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and was deeply affected by her passing on August 30, 2022. 

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife; one grandson, Brooks Jones; his parents; his brother, Paul Stanley Blaylock; and his sister, Jean Ann Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma, at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, under the guidance of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. 

Active pallbearers will include Todd Blaylock, Ben Daniel, Jordan Haworth, Cyrus Haworth, Kyle Haworth, Logan Hyles, Benjamin Blaylock, and Randy Winstead. Honorary pallbearers will be James Everett Treat, Tommy Treat, Gary Treat, Perry Jones, and Jim Anderson.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 PM on Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will greet from 6 to 8 PM.
