Funeral services for Bonnie Sue Silk, age 76, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Blackgum Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Following the service, a reception will be held on site in the church's Fellowship Hall. There will be no grave side service. Burial will take place at Bunch Cemetery in Bunch, Oklahoma, under the care of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Bonnie was born on July 27, 1949, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to Lucille A. (Eden) Lee and William P. Lee. She passed away on May 3, 2026, in Oklahoma City. She was devoted to her husband, Cecil R. Silk. Bonnie cherished reading, sewing, cooking, painting, and enjoyed watching true crime shows. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Cecil; three daughters, Lisa York and Tory, Cindy Terry and Mike, and Vanessa Silk, all of Oklahoma City; one son, Vincent Silk, also of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, Jonathon, Christopher, Ashley, Mandy, Kourtney, Cecil, Victoria, and Kegan; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Camden, Aubreana, Arabella, Sterling, Dominic, Avery, London, Asher, Kensley, Channing, Kenneth III, Everest, Kailyn, and Levi. Bonnie is also survived by her brother, William Dub Lee and Renee of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and her sister, Eva Lee of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Hiawatha Cloud, Christine Waters, Bernice Ellis, and Gladys Craighead; and three brothers, Albert Lee, J.C. Lee, and Donel Lee.
Active pallbearers will include Jonathon Henderson, Christopher Henderson, Cecil Wilber, Kegan Silk, Michael Randolph, and Marty Kimble.
The family will be greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
