Funeral service for Bob Philpot, 82 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 18, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Nellie Pauline (Crawford) Philpot and Elzie Drannen Philpot and passed away on July 13, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Robbie (Foster) Philpot. She preceded him in death on January 16, 2023. Mr. Philpot was a truck driver for over 40 years. He loved car shows and was involved in the Old Sallisaw High School Park and Event Center.

Survivors are four sons, Jim Philpot and Kristy of Greenwood, AR, Bobby Philpot of Sallisaw, OK, R.D. Smith and Cindy of Athens, TX and Brent Philpot and Tawnya of Little Rock, AR; ten grandchildren, Katie Smith (Brad), Cody Smith (Hayley), Sarah Schultz (Montana), Anna Smith (Dilepso Blanco), Mary Beth Smith, Maggie Smith, Jennifer Apple (David), Bobby Allen Philpot (Mandy Tate), Heath Philpot (Stephanie) and Tanner Philpot (Kari); 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Active Pallbearers will be Jimmy Philpot, R.D. Smith, Heath Philpot, Tanner Philpot, Brent Philpot, Cody Smith and Bobby Philpot.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Thursday and 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Friday.
