Blanch Bernice Johnson

July 3, 1936 — July 18, 2026

Muldrow, Oklahoma

Blanch Bernice Johnson, 90, passed from this earth on July 18, 2026. Born on July 3, 1936, in Stigler, Oklahoma, to William Frederick Clark and Dorothy Gertrude (Odom) Clark. She married Harold Johnson on March 7, 1953 and together they shared 68 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on September 12, 2021.

Bernice lived a life centered on her faith, her family, and serving others. She was a faithful Pentecostal Christian and a member of Vision of the Way Fellowship Church in Roland, Oklahoma. She loved the Lord with all her heart and she didn’t just talk about it, she lived it. She believed in the power of prayer and trusted God through every season of life.

She spent many years as a beautician, where she enjoyed visiting with her clients and making lasting friendships along the way. She had a servant’s heart and truly enjoyed helping people.

When she wasn’t working, you could usually find her outside tending to her flowers or working in her yard.

More than anything, she loved her family and she wanted to make sure they had a relationship with the Lord.

The words of 2 Timothy 4:7 describe her life well: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” We rejoice knowing she has received her heavenly reward and is now in the presence of the Savior she loved so dearly.

She will be deeply missed, but the love she shared, the faith she lived, and the example she set will always remain.
