Bill Clinton Land

Bill Clinton Land, age 95, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, departed this life on August 7, 2025. Born on February 17, 1930, in Drumright, Oklahoma, he was the son of Georgia (Cargill) Land and Rufus Land. Bill was married to Betty (Cassady) Land on October 20, 1953, in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Throughout his life, Bill dedicated himself to his community as the owner and butcher at Downtown Supermarket, where his kindness and work ethic left a lasting impact. He served proudly in the United States Air Force and was a Charter Member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw, showcasing his commitment to both God and country.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Betty; along with various relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.

A funeral service honoring Bill's life will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, followed by burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Active pallbearers will include Don Auld, Steve Rutherford, Greg Ruark, Barney Girdner, Preston Collins, and Donnie Kibbe. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Aydelott and Dr. Phil Agent. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Sunday from 2 - 8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin in Sallisaw, where the family will greet visitors from 2 - 4 PM.
