Funeral service for Betty Walters, 81 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 10, 1942 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Eva Pauline (Jackson) Smith and James Andrew Smith and passed away on June 2, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Jerry Walters. Mrs. Walters was a caregiver.

Survivors are husband, Jerry of the home; one daughter, Cynthia Phillips of Muldrow, OK; one son, Dennis Garrett Muldrow, OK; five grandchildren; three sisters, Vida Tibbit of Natural Dam, AR, Sue Shepherd of Van Buren, AR and Debbie Bay of Spiro, OK; three brothers, Ricky Smith of Muldrow, OK, Hubert Smith of Muldrow, OK and Charles Smith of Muldrow, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Wanda Prewett.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Phillips, Jerry Prewett, Riley Smith, Buzz Smith, Shane Allen and James Smith.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
