Funeral Service for Baylee Rayann Coachman, 11, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at The House in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Baylee Rayann Coachman was called to her forever home on April 23, 2025. She was born on August 10, 2013, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and from the very beginning, brought joy,

laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.

Baylee was truly one of a kind—quirky, unique, outgoing, and full of personality. She was a daddy’s girl through and through, and her bond with her father was unbreakable. Baylee had a big heart that overflowed with love for God, her family, her friends, and animals of every kind. She was always drawn to creatures great and small, and they seemed to sense her gentle spirit.

She loved going to church, singing in her middle school choir, and spending time with her best friends Ariana, Cherokee, and John. Whether she was riding her bike, fishing, drawing, playing basketball, styling hair and makeup, or shopping, Baylee embraced life with energy and creativity. She loved to read, listen to music, and be outside, enjoying the world around her.

Baylee adored staying with her Aunt Deborah and Grandma Dorothy, sharing secrets and laughs with her sister, Abby, and video chatting with her cousin, Skilar. Her smile could light up a room, and her intelligence,

sense of humor, and compassion made her unforgettable. To know Baylee was to truly love her.

Survivors include her father, Franklin Coachman Jr. of Sallisaw, OK; her mother, Delacey Patton of Roland, OK; three sisters, Alana Hunsaker, Keira Linebarger, and Mikaya Shell; her special sister, Abby Buchanan; grandparents, Frank Coachman of Ardmore, OK, Stephanie Berryman of Sallisaw, OK, and Jason Patton of Sallisaw, OK; great-grandmother, Dorothy Patton of Sallisaw, OK; aunts and uncles, Taija Buchanan and husband Trey, Melissa Tipton and husband Randall, Amanda Coachman, Heather Fletcher and husband Kevin, James Merrick Jr., JJ Patton, Blake Patton, Jaydan Patton, Jesse Patton, and Jailah Patton; and her great-aunt, Deborah Patton of Sallisaw, OK.

Baylee was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alisa Brooks.

Baylee leaves behind a large and loving group of cousins who meant the world to her: Dylan, Kolby, Landon, Skilar, Rylan, Colton, Noah, James, Iza, and Karma, as well as many more cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her love, laughter, and light.

Baylee’s bright light and boundless love will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.

Viewing will be noon - 4 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
