Graveside Service for Arthur Lee Hayes, 71, of Warner, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Round Mountain Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on January 13, 1955 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Emel (Hawkins) Hayes and Arthur Junior Hayes and passed away on April 16, 2026 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mr. Hayes was a U.S. Army Veteran and a construction worker who was integral in the construction of numerous nursing homes in Oklahoma.
Survivors are children, James Hayes of Germany, Kimbra Hayes of Germany, Mariah Hayes of Oklahoma and John Hayes of Arkansas; several grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Sanders of Atlanta, KS, Charlotte Casinger of Gore, OK and Sandra Layman of Braggs, OK; brothers, Steve Hayes of Webbers Falls, OK and Melvin Hayes of Gore, OK; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Tammy Summerlin and one brother, Daryl.
The family sends a special thank you to Elara Hospice and the Vian Nursing Home staff.
Viewing will be 2 - 8 PM Sunday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore.
