Alta Mae (Davis) Harp

Alta Mae (Davis) Harp, age 76, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on June 7, 2026, in Roland, Oklahoma. Born on June 14, 1949, in Sallisaw, she was the daughter of Marie (Allen) Davis and Ernest Odell Davis. Alta Mae was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and community.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Elizabeth Watie, Camry Vasquez, Ophelia Vasquez, Giselle Vasquez, and Xander Vasquez. Alta Mae is also survived by her sister, Carol Davis Ulmer of Fort Worth, Texas; her brother, Bobby Odell Davis of Fort Worth, Texas; her niece, Tina Ulmer of Lewisville, Texas; her nephew, Brian Ulmer of Fort Worth, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Alta Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Michelle Watie; her son, Jeffery McGee-Stephens; her grandson, Jesus Vasquez; and her brother, Donald Davis.

Her life was one of love and dedication to those around her, and she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
