Alta Mae (Davis) Harp, age 76, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on June 7, 2026, in Roland, Oklahoma. Born on June 14, 1949, in Sallisaw, she was the daughter of Marie (Allen) Davis and Ernest Odell Davis. Alta Mae was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and community.
She is lovingly remembered by her two grandchildren, Elizabeth Watie and Ashley Johnson; and seven great-grandchildren, Camry Vasquez, Ophelia Vasquez, Giselle Vasquez, Xander Vasquez, Summer Pinkerton, Kaitlyn Johnson, and Hunter Pinkerton. Alta Mae is also survived by her sister, Carol Davis Ulmer of Fort Worth, Texas; her brother, Bobby Odell Davis of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces, Tina Ulmer of Lewisville, TX, Heather Davis of Claremore, OK and Jennifer Davis of Sallisaw, OK; nephews, Brian Ulmer of Fort Worth, TX, Shawn Davis of Muskogee, OK, Derek Davis of Siloam Springs, AR, Zachary Davis of New Orleans, LA and Michael Davius of Arkansas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Alta Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Michelle Watie; her son, Jeffery McGee-Stephens; her grandson, Jesus Vasquez; and her brother, Donald Davis.
Her life was one of love and dedication to those around her, and she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cremation services are being conducted under the care of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
