Albert Lee Thomas

Albert Lee Thomas, aged 72, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on June 28, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Born on November 22, 1953, in Y City, Arkansas, to Madine and James Henry Thomas, Albert was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He married Kathy Edna (Slote) Thomas on June 22, 1977, in Poteau, Oklahoma. Kathy preceded him in death on June 24, 2019.

Albert dedicated many years as a furnace operator at Mac Steel/Gerdau and served his country proudly as a U.S. Army veteran. He was also a cherished member of the Church of Christ and was known for his remarkable storytelling skills.

He is survived by his children, Jimmy Thomas and Robin of Pocola, OK, Misty Collins and Danny of Tulsa, OK, Steve Thomas and Angela of Muldrow, OK, David Thomas and Sonja of Monroe, OK, Amanda Patterson and Chris of Muldrow, OK, George Thomas of Tulsa, OK, and Kathren Thomas of Tulsa, OK. Albert leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, his sister Linda Cutlip and Don of Kentucky, along with other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Lilly Thomas, and brothers James, Lloyd, and Ricky Thomas.

Albert's legacy of love and storytelling will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
