Obituary

Joe Bailey Gunter, Sr. was born November 4, 1918 in Gans, Oklahoma, the son of James Martin Gunter and Lula Melissa (Couch) Gunter. He married Ruby Lee (Merrill) Gunter on April 14, 1941 in Gans, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on October 22, 2009 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Gunter passed this life on February 26, 2010 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 91 years, 3 months and 22 days.
Survivors are:
2 Sons and Daughters in Law:
Joe Gunter, Jr. and Diana of Gans, OK
Gary and Shirley Gunter of Sallisaw, OK
5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren,
Numerous other relatives and many friends
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruby Gunter,
1 Son: Dennis Gunter, 3 Grandchildren: Ashley, Justin and Christopher Gunter, 2 Sisters: Etta Linker and Irene Gullick
